Education Needed For Best Paying Jobs
We all know there are jobs being listed that offer great salaries but most of us don’t qualify. Why? Because we don’t have the right education for it. It’s no longer enough to just have experience in the field you have to have a college degree to back it up.
More and more companies are asking for at least an associates degree for even entry level positions and those of us that have been out in the working world for at least 20 years usually don’t have the required education. We started out working a job in high school. After we graduated we went to another position as an entry level employee and worked out way up the ladder, learning everything we needed to know on the job. This is not enough anymore.
I’ve seen many ads for jobs that require a degree in the field but also 7 – 10 years experience in the field. There aren’t that many people out there with that combination. Most of the people with that among of experience and the degree are usually already employed. For those of you out there who have the experience, I suggest you try to get a degree.
